North Shore Real Estate Information

The North Shore offers a wide range of home options, from $200,000 homes in Kings Beach to $10 million plus lakefront spreads in Dollar Point. Tahoe City, with its small-town feel, offers fine restaurants and shopping and the Tahoe City Marina. Tahoe City's median price was $725,000 for a home, $474,000 for a condo, as of March.

Woodsy Carnelian Bay and Carnelian Heights, close to everything, have a nice array of old and new houses. Other neighborhoods are Tahoe Marina Estates, Ridgewood with an association pier, and Tahoe Vista, within walking distance of a public beach, marina and restaurants.

North Shore has numerous beaches and parks, world-class skiing at Alpine Meadows, Northstar-at-Tahoe and Squaw Valley, boating and water sports at the Tahoe City and North Tahoe marinas, and access to the 165-mile Tahoe Rim Trail as well as the historic Gatekeeper's Museum.
